Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, KC & the Sound brings a dynamic, soul-forward sound rooted in feel. DINNER IN THE VINEYARD

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH

6:00-9:00PM

Join us for an evening of alfresco dining in the vineyards of Olalla Winery. In our ongoing efforts to promote agritourism and sustain our agricultural industry, we will start with a walk through the vineyard with our first glass of wine and passed appetizers to educate guests on what happens in the vineyard during the different seasons (please wear appropriate footwear). Then, we will take a tour of the winery and showcase our "clay amphorae" used in the primary fermentation process of making wine. Clay amphorae were used thousands of years ago and still prove to be a game changer in wine making. Finally, we will proceed to the back vineyard for the rest of the wine-paired dinner. The meal will be composed of locally grown & seasonal foods prepared onsite and presented by one of our local chefs. Each course will be paired with an Olalla wine, all to be enjoyed amongst the grapevines with breathtaking views of our vines during sunset.

  $165.00 per person (plus 9.2% sales tax)

Thea Wescott is a local singer/songwriter musician having lived in the harbor since 1992. She has been playing guitar and writing songs most of her life.  Thea has a good local fan base and very much enjoy small venues (like the winery loft) where she can tell stories and sing her songs. Thea was a regular performer at the bluebird cafe in Nashville in the 90s. Join us for a fun evening of down to earth original songs, fun covers, beautiful harmonies and stories!

Master saxophonist / flutist / composer Mark Lewis has earned a long list of impressive reviews including “Northwest Treasure” (Jim Wilke, KNKX DJ) and “distinctive original” (Paul deBarros, Seattle Times music writer). He’s written more than 1,800 songs inspired by people, places and experiences along his path, and features some of his original pieces each time he performs.

Pianist Bill Anschell was born and raised in Seattle and he too left the area for 25 years to experience the larger world of jazz. The two each eventually found their way back to the Northwest and when they take the stage together they bring a world of experience, interaction and spontaneity to every performance. They are among the best anywhere.
